Who is Qbii?

Qbii is a Smart City Solutions integrator that leverages advanced technologies to design and implement automated services and infrastructure. Our suite of solutions includes P2P energy, data protection, smart payments, DeFi for machines, data marketplaces, and even future solutions for space applications.

The Story Behind Qbii

Qbii emerged at the crossroads of Web3 and Industry4, where AI, DLT, and hardware converge. While the fintech sector attracted significant attention in recent years, the practical applications of these underlying technologies were often overlooked. Recognizing the potential for secured hardware and reliable data inputs to support AI, Qbii stepped up to secure this space. We are driven by creative solutions to big, hairy, and audacious challenges and a commitment to addressing global climate threats, so here we are.

Our Global Team

Qbii boasts a diverse and talented team of nine members, each bringing unique expertise and perspectives to the table. While we are team, we function much more like a community with a solid technical orientation. Our team ranges from senior full-stack developers to junior developers, along with key business-focused contributors. We are proud to be a fully remote team with members based in Japan, the Philippines, Hong Kong, India, Kenya, and Nigeria, which allows us to tap into the most diverse talent and ideas from around the world.

Whats up with the weird name?

Our name, G4M78, is a homage to Game 4, Move 78 in the AlphaGo vs. Lee Sedol match, where Sedol made a non-obvious, inspired, and original 1 in 10,000 move leading to victory over AlphaGo - a move so rare it is described as a Divine or Godly move.
